2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

We recommend sending notices via email for the fastest processing. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days of receiving a complete, valid notice.
4. What Happens After We Receive a Notice
Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notice, we will:
- Review the notice to confirm it meets all legal requirements.
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content as soon as reasonably possible.
- Notify the party who posted the content (if applicable) that it has been removed.
- Inform them of their right to submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error.
5. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that content was removed from thevedus.com due to a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your full name, address, email address, and phone number.
- Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your district (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which thevedus.com may be found).
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complaining party. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days of receiving the counter-notice, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
Thevedus.com maintains a strict policy regarding repeat infringers. In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
7. False Claims
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing — or that content was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees. Please ensure your claim is made in good faith.
